EWP is staging the 'Self-Ethics Campaign' to encourage voluntary implementation of ethical management for all employees. Furthermore, EWP is trying to elevate the level of integrity and customer satisfaction based on efforts to accomplish economic, social and environmental performances. The company has established the system and standards for proper implementation of ethical management to further solidify its corporate commitment of ethical management.
The Ethical Standards serve as evaluation criteria for ethical activities. These include the Code of Ethical Behavior, Activity Principles and Activity Guidelines for working-level employees. They reflect requirements that are being intensified among stakeholders by adding social requirements and revising and updating them on a regular basis.
Since each employee has a significant role in achieving ethical management, a variety of education programs, including cyber education, external group-based education, and internal team-based training are provided for all employees.
EWP uses a reporting system that is available to any outside stakeholders as well as to internal employees. It utilizes an ombudsmen policy for complaints regarding unethical activities and customer inconveniences.
Since 2007, EWP has been independently developing and operating the‘EWP Ethical Management Index (EWP-EMIx)' to come up with improvements by measuring and analyzing the implementation level of ethical management programs.
